About the role

Here at Babcock we're looking to recruit a Survival Equipment Supervisor to join the team at RAF Cranwell.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, as Survival Equipment Supervisor you'll be responsible for the scheduled maintenance, repair, issue and fitting of RAF Aircrew Equipment Assemblies and Company owned Survival Equipment. You'll ensure that Survival Equipment maintenance is carried out, documented and recorded in a timely manner and in accordance with the LAFT Quality Plan, RAF and Company procedures.

What do I need to do the role?

You'll need to be technically competent and have completed an RAF Survival Equipment Course (or Civilian equivalent). Grob Handling Course is also highly desirable.

We would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

> Q-SE-AC (Helmet Fitting).
> RAF Flying Clothing Maintenance and Fitting.
> RAF Flying Operations
> Ground movement of aircraft and flight line operations.
> Maintenance documentation and recording
> Health, Safety and Environmental procedures

Lastly, it is essential that you have good communication skills and experience gained in a senior supervisory position.

What else do I need to know?

> Hours are 40 per week, on shift to support operations.
> The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role and will also need to complete a medical assessment.
