Adecco Poole and Bournemouth are delighted to be assisting one of our local clients in their search for a Data Forensic Investigator.

This role is a contract role until March 2020.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the organisation with an evidential Data Investigation capability. You will be responsible for the management of the technical investigations including securing and retrieving data from seized computer systems, including configuration of operating systems and applications, attending searches where necessary, producing technical documentation in relation to data retrieved from computers and media.

Responsibilities

* To ensure continual professional and organisational development within technology and data recovery methods

* To assist in maintenance of systems, storage and server facilities

* Manage investigations including forensically examining and reconstruction of computer data

* Build, maintain and develop all aspect of computer systems

* Assist with major incident investigations providing specialist advice and knowledge

* Provide and prepare training and presentations

The Ideal Candidate

* Educated to degree level in computing science and/or extensive investigatory experience

* Hold a full UK driving licence

* Experience in a range of operating systems including DOS, Microsoft, Macintosh, Linux and BIOS & CMOS

* Knowledge of legislation including RIPA, Computer Misuse Act, Criminal Justice Act and Data Protection Act

* Ability to use information methodically

* Can work in potentially stressful situations

Rate

GBP13.70 p/h
