Our Voids service is looking for a highly skilled Painter Decorator operative to join our growing Curo Voids team to deliver both planned and reactive repairs to our empty properties.

What you'll be doing
You’ll have NVQ Level 2 Painter Decorating qualification and a range of trade skills, together with experience of delivering high quality and timely repairs to domestic dwellings and the ability to provide accurate diagnostic solutions.
You’ll be working in our vacant properties alongside a mix of voids trade operatives. You will be responsible for completing all the necessary decorative repairs in our vacant residential properties involving prepping walls and woodwork, full/part decorations, ensuring quality and safety for new customers moving in.
You will work very closely with a team of trade operatives and colleagues from across the business in particular with our lettings team ensuring a joined up approach to void delivery and driving positive cross team relationships with an attitude to succeed.
More about you
You will have the aptitude to work with mobile technology and demonstrate a commitment to delivering first class customer service, ensuring repairs/decorations are carried out to a high standard and, whenever possible, at the first visit.
You’ll have knowledge of a variety of trade skills in carpentry, wet trades, masonry and glazing.
You’ll have a full driving licence as you will be driving one of our Curo vans and you will need to be comfortable using hand held mobile and tablet devices.
You will have a proactive, positive and customer-focused approach as well as being organised and have attention to detail. At the same time you will demonstrate resilience and the desire to work in an interesting environment where no day is ever the same!
