We are currently seeing a Laser Operator/Production Operative for a client based in Camelford. The primary duty within this role will be to operate an Amada LCG CO2 Laser as well as performing other production tasks.
Duties include but not limited to -
* Laser operating (Amada LCG)
* Drilling & tapping
* CNC router operating
* Bar Cutting, Operating bandsaw and linisher
* Press break operating (Amada HFE 3i)
* Surface preparation & sanding
* Wet painting
The ideal candidate will have a good eye for detail and ideally hold a current forklift licence. You will have a good understanding of engineering drawings and be highly competent at manual tasks.
Previous experience working in sheet metal and lean manufacturing preferred
This is a full time position starting on a temporary basis.
Salary: GBP8.00 to GBP10.00 /hour
