Full Time Farm Administrator Required For Busy Farm Office in Barton Under Needwood

Packington Pork Ltd is a high welfare pig producer with various breeding herds and farms across the country.  Due to our exciting, on-going expansion we are looking for a new member of staff to work in our busy farm office in Barton-under-Needwood.  

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience:

  • Experienced in purchase & sales ledger
  • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Have a flexible approach to work
  • An excellent telephone etiquette
  • Highly organised 
  • Good attention to detail and accurate
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a team but able to show initiative
  • Self-motivated
  • Hold a full UK driving licence

In addition, a background in farming would be advantageous but is not compulsory

Main Duties

  • Purchase/Sales Ledger input
  • Data entry onto excel spreadsheets
  • Data entry onto bespoke recording software
  • Liaise with Production Director to resolve queries regarding sites and recording
  • Receive and place calls – direct calls/queries to the relevant person
  • Admin Support to Managing Director & Production Director
  • General Admin 

This is a full time position based on 37.5 hrs per week. However for the right candidate there may be some flexibility in the hours.

Salary dependant on experience
