Here at Watkin Jones Group, we are now seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join us at our site in Sutton. Within this role, you will manage the works on site to ensure the project is completed to a high standard on time, safely and profitably resulting in satisfied clients.

You will be responsible for managing builds ensuring company standards and procedures are adhered to at all times, as well as monitoring the construction working programme with the Contracts Manager on a weekly basis. In addition, you will also be expected to manage sub-contractors, labour, plant and materials, issuing requisitions for plant, labour and materials as required to meet programme.

About You

In order to be successful in this role, you will hold an NVQ Level 3, ‘A’ Level or HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and have experience of overseeing both internal fit outs and external builds, particularly on high rise buildings. Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, you will have excellent communication skills, be assertive and have exceptional management and leadership skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel is also important and you should also possess a First Aid certificate. With good experience of cladding systems and the ability to demonstrate a track record of managing external facades, you will ideally have experience with drainage / soft landscaping.

Those who possess a First Aid certificate, an SMSTS certificate, a scaffolding certificate and a CSCS card will be of distinct advantage, however this is not essential.
