Lecturer In Business

Full Time Lecturer required in:

BUSINESS (TRURO)

Salary will be based on a band in the range of

£24,586 - £36,508 per annum

To start August 2019

The successful applicant will be expected to provide high quality teaching across a range of business related courses, hold a relevant teaching qualification, and have a commitment to the delivery of an outstanding learning experience to our students. The ability to offer flexibility across courses within the department is also important. 

We are looking for someone who works with confidence with a wide variety of ability levels, who is a committed team member and who projects an enthusiasm for their subject and strives to achieve the highest standards in terms of their students’ results. 

The successful applicant will be expected to provide high quality teaching on education programmes, and to contribute to providing an outstanding learning experience for our students.  The candidate will have a successful track record particularly in the delivery of vocational business programmes, however, the ability to offer flexibility across courses within the department is very important.

 The area delivers a wide range of full- time courses including:

• AS/A2 Accounting, Business Studies, Economics and Law
• BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business
• BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel & Tourism
• Level 2 Business / Travel & Tourism
• FdA Business, FdSc Law, BA(Hons) Business, Enterprise & Leadership

The Programme Area consistently produces results of a high standard – currently self –assessed at Grade 1.  As well as teaching, the successful candidate is likely also to have responsibility for a tutor group.

Interviews are likely to be held between 3^rd and 10^th May 2019
