This high profile Business Services organisation is recruiting an HR Advisor on an 8 month Fixed Term Contract to be home based with occasional UK travel to Nottingham and Coventry.

You will be responsible for providing operational HR support and solutions to Management Teams supporting an IT & Networks business and working closely with your Stakeholders to help them ascertain and achieve the business requirements.

Reporting to the HR Business Partner you will be providing the full range of professional HR services to including support with high volume employee relations casework, dealing with redundancies, advising and training managers on various tasks and being involved in the disciplinary and grievance procedure. You will be the first point of contact within the division so we are looking for a strong confident communicator with a commercially focussed approach.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide commercially focussed advice and support to Managers on all Employee Relations issues

* Provide onsite support for clients as required, including advising at meetings and investigations

* Raise awareness of business regarding current and new Employment Legislation

* Provide an accurate and timely HR service, responding to telephone and email queries and supporting HR cases, ensuring accurate and timely recording of information.

* To be an effective team player who contributes to the overall success of the HR function, supporting colleagues and teams when required.

You must be adept at dealing with volume ER caseloads in an effective manner including redundancies, dismissals, grievances and redundancies. Experience of working in complex structures and organisations where delivery of people services is through a mix of supplier arrangements is highly desirable.

The successful applicant will be CIPD qualified or currently working towards qualification with up to date knowledge of Employment Law. You should be highly organised, adept at planning your schedule and with excellent analytical skills. The role requires a strong communicator who can manage relationships an team working remotely as well as on-site and who can respond quickly and efficiently, demonstrating flexibility when coping with the demands of the business.

This is an 8-month contract role offering between GBP27,000 - GBP32,000 depending on experience + benefits with the potential to go permanent at the contract within the business. The role is home based with regular travel to other sites, including Nottingham and Coventry. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9 am - 5.30 pm
