Electronics Engineer

This exciting opportunity would suit an Electronic Engineer who wants to be challenged in an innovative, creative environment; implementing ideas, designing and developing ground-breaking products to change and improve the parts of the world we impact. The successful candidate will join our vibrant team of creative engineers, working independently and as a part of team in our open-plan hub, fully equipped with tool room and full prototyping ability.

With innovation at the very core, Photocentric is a rapidly growing manufacturing company with a number of patented, market leading and award-winning products manufactured in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, with a subsidiary in Arizona, USA.

The role will involve controlling the full hardware and firmware development as well as managing production of PCBs.

Desired qualities:

• Must be very interested in 3D printers.
• Electronic engineering degree.
• Understanding ofMicro controller design and programming.
• PCB design experience (Eagle, KiCAD or other PCB design software).
• Knowledge of LEDs and LED control circuitry.
• Motion control expertise.
• Power electronics experience.
• Display driver experience.
• Experience of EMC and CE compliant design.
