Regional role based in the Kent & Sussex region.

The Regional Facilities Manager will take ownership of the operational management and delivery of all facilities management services delivered within his/her region across multiple sites. This includes management of the client interface, adopting a collaborative approach, to ensure that a consistently strong relationship is maintained. The Cluster Manager will take appropriate and responsive action to address any of the client's concerns. In addition, the Cluster Manager is responsible providing leadership to all site teams, ensuring that the day-to-day operations are effective and supporting with the removal of any obstacles or constraints.

This is an active and visible role requiring excellent client relationship, team leadership and supplier management skills. Working as part of a team within the business, the Cluster Manager will be expected to positively contribute to the performance of the business by contributing to business initiatives, engendering a culture of customer care and driving continuous improvement.

Principal Accountabilities

To manage the client interface within an assigned region; ensuring a high profile in the day-to-day running of the sites, and provision of a consistently strong link with clients, guaranteeing appropriate and responsive action to address any of the client's concerns.

To manage excellent relationships with our site managers, clients, suppliers and other partners within a region.

*

To line manage and support Site Managers to ensure that they are appropriately equipped to deliver services effectively.

*

To performance manage across teams and service lines, reporting on and monitoring performance.

*

To ensure that the operational aspects of his/her region are delivered in accordance with the SLA by an agreed programme of qualitative checks and controlled measures.

*

To act as an ambassador for change, supporting the implementation of business-wide initiatives at a site-level.

*

To develop and implement performance strategies and improvement plans to drive continued performance improvements across all sites within the assigned region.

*

To control risks and issues escalated at a site-level and put in place appropriate mitigation and resolution plans.

*

To develop maximum growth of the business through understanding client needs, maximising the services delivered and championing excellent customer care.

*

To ensure compliance with all statutory, security and relevant company and client policies generating a true health and safety culture.

*

To ensure that all operational policies and procedures meet contractual compliance and are consistently delivered across the region.

To build strong relationships with suppliers and manage their performance effectively.

*

To define and take ownership of Target Operating Models (TOM) across sites, ensuring optimum performance and productivity within budgetary boundaries.

*

To manage the people resources effectively and efficiently to deliver the required services.

*

To ensure control of spending and manage budgets through effective financial management.

*

Analysis of budgetary information to assist in annual budgetary and monthly forecasting processes.

*

To lead, recruit, develop and retain staff to deliver services in the most efficient and effective manner.

*

To ensure that a continuous improvement process is an integral part of service delivery increasingly adding value to both the business and our client.

*

To visit sites and facilitate regular customer forums and meetings with key stakeholders as appropriate.

To interact with all internal teams to discharge the consistent, effective and efficient delivery of services and in doing so, support best practice.

*

To support customer and company audits ensuring optimum results are achieved.

*

To set objectives for direct reports and review bi-monthly. Ensure same approach and mechanisms for all staff within area of responsibility.

*

To manage sickness and absence within areas of responsibility and support staff retention through development opportunities and succession planning.

*

Working closely with all central support functions to coordinate and channel business requirements.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 5 years management experience, including management of first line managers and experience of managing multiple site operations

Considerable experience within the Facilities Management sector and technical service delivery

Proven analytical and financial management acumen with demonstrable commercial experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage and understand effective use of resources

Knowledge of risk and compliance

Exceptional client relationship management skills

NEBOSH Certified

The appointment of this role is subject to security vetting.

Desirable Skills
To be able to work with our client, you must be able to pass the standard security vetting process for the establishment. This will include a criminal records check (Standard DBS). An offer to start in the position will be dependent on all security checks being passed.
