Our client is a reputable Accounts Practice based in Belper. The practice has been delivering an outstanding service to over 400 clients for 27 years. As business continues to grow, they are now seeking a Semi Senior Accounts Preparation Clerk to help contribute to their success. This is a full-time permanent position.
This is the perfect opportunity for A Semi Senior Practice Accountant to join a growing business with trusted client partnerships, and business based on personal recommendations.
To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:
AAT Qualification
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a practising Accounts office
Knowledge of IRIS and SAGE
Knowledge of corporation and personal tax, IXBRIL, VAT, filing online forms with HMRC, and companies house.
Excellent excel skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Driving license with access to your own car
The successful candidate will be required to travel to meetings with clients as and when required. You will need access to you own vehicle. The position would suit someone who is happy to work in a small, family feel team with a broad base of skills including accounts preparation and tax compliance
Within this role, you will also be responsible for:
Working with sole traders, partnerships, charities and limited companies.
Working alongside all members of the team on a varied client portfolio,
A variety of Accounts Preparation duties including; Tax Computations, Management Accounts, Bookkeeping, VAT Returns, and HMRC queries.
Maintaining and growing client relationships, by keeping in regular contact and resolving client queries
Assisting on audit assignments
Promoting and developing good relationships with clients
Year-end accounts prep
Working Hours: Monday- Friday 8.30- 17.00
Salary- Excellent salary dependant on experience
