My client, an automotive 1st tier supplier which manufactures bespoke and off the shelf electric motors and generators, requires an experienced design engineer to join its team. This dynamic company looks for individuals with an exceptional engineering knowledge who can provide creative solutions to help produce innovative products.
Responsibilities:
* Generation of innovative design and engineering solutions
* 2D and 3D CAD design and modelling of electric motor components, from concept into production.
* Investigation of build issues in prototype and on line to establish root cause and design changes required.
* Liaise with key suppliers and customers on design and development issues
Applicants must have:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent within an engineering related discipline with experience in engine component design
* Proficient CAD user with strong experience of Solidworks
* The ideal candidate will be a focused, highly motivated individual who takes an analytical approach to provide creative solutions
* Ability to work well within a team environment is essential
