We're looking for a skilled and professional Estate Caretaker to bring their expertise to the Estates Team. You will need to enjoy working with people and be able to use your knowledge and experience to make a real difference to our communities and our customers. You will be required to cover the following areas; London Borough of Camden, Hackney, Haringey, Islington, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.

The role will include a range of estate management and caretaking tasks, mainly around ensuring that our Tower Blocks are clean and well-kept and free from litter and bulk refuse. You will work closely with other members of the Estate and Neighbourhood Team and will be responsible for making sure that health and safety and other issues are reported promptly.

The ideal candidate will have the following -

  • Good team working skills and the ability to work on their own initiative
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds
  • Ability to deal with members of the public, staff and community representatives in a courteous, effective and professional manner
  • Ability to work alone and self-motivate
