We are looking for an expert in Internal Communications to join our team in Swindon.
What you'll be doing:
• Developing communication channels into the Depot network and operations team
• Expanding and delivering a regular communications programme
• Partnering with Operations Management and People Business Partners to support tactical communication requirements
• Source, research, write and publish engaging and informative communications
• Owning our monthly 'Get Connected' newsletter
• Developing, training and managing the Engagement Champions network
• Running the annual What Matters (Engagement) survey and regular Pulse update surveys
• Developing effective working relationships with Distribution Managers, provide 'on-demand' communication advice and support
• Developing a digital strategy for internal communications
• Supporting communications requirements of the wider People Team
• Managing annual events/conferences programme
• Co-developing the communications agenda with the team
What we are looking for:
• Previous experience in similar communications or marketing role
• Ability to work independently and travel to other sites as and when needed
• Adaptability - able to quickly adjust to changing circumstances and make decisions
• Creativity and editorial writing expertise
• Experience in developing effective communication channels, including digital
It'd be great but not essential if you had:
• Experience in a customer-facing, commercial environment
• Social media campaign management
• Experience in change and transformation projects
• Creative team and production management
