An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estate Services Manager to join us in providing a safe and desirable community through the management of our estate services.
You will manage a team of Grounds Maintenance and Caretaking Operatives to deliver a programme of works covering all aspects of grounds maintenance, caretaking and estate services. Proactive in your approach, you will monitor service standards, carrying out regular block checks to ensure that all works are being carried out in line with company and health & safety standards. It will also be your responsibility to effectively manage contracts with external providers as well as the estate services budget, ensuring that resources are allocated correctly.
The ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate experience of people and contract management as well as a good working knowledge of health and safety legislation. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, you will have worked in a customer service environment before so will have excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as IT proficiency and the ability to plan and prioritise workload.
Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you have a driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
