Job description

In this Operations Assistant graduate job, you will be joining the business operations team, but will also be working closely with the Managing Director, leadership team and HR Partner. In this structured role, you will start by focusing on the people side of the business, covering all areas of culture, recruitment, onboarding, personal development, finance, training and events. Once you have mastered the role basics, you will be expected to progress to more complex internal systems innovation, people management, project management and increased involvement in supporting the leadership team and helping shape the culture of the business.

Key responsibilities

In this Operations Assistant graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with the Managing Director, leadership team & HR Partner
• Helping with the people side of the business, including helping maintain company culture as they grow, recruiting new staff and onboarding
• Helping to recruit the large grad intake ever year and supporting with HR processes
• Assisting with finances associated with the business e.g. payroll, expenses , hiring costs and business forecasts
• Learning about all core areas of the business and getting stuck into everything
• Assisting with internal training and training new staff
• Assisting with events

• At least a 2.1 from top university
• Excellent communication skills over the phone and in person
• Switched-on, driven and curious candidates who are hungry to learn
• Fantastic drive and energy from operating at a fast pace and the ability to thrive on solving problems in an evolving environment
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, an ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a wide range of both colleagues and clients
• Strong IT skills - developing an excellent knowledge of smartphones, MS Office, inc Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strategic thinker and decisive when it counts
• A fun and friendly team player
