Overview:
Global Equities is a market leading provider of equity and equity-linked products to institutional, corporate and retail clients world-wide. The Equities platform is built on four product lines - Equity Trading, Equity Derivatives, Prime Finance and convertibles - setting the standard in trading, origination, financing and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing diaries, assessing priority of appointments and reallocation, as necessary
- Managing travel arrangements (including visas/accommodation)
- Screening calls, enquiries and requests, dealing with them appropriately
- Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
- Organising meetings and ensuring that attendees are well prepared for those meetings, preparing agendas, pre-meeting briefings and meeting papers
- Managing arrangements for meetings, including production/distribution of agenda and papers
- Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority
- Supervising incoming/outgoing mail
- Undertaking any ad hoc duties, as required
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experienced Personal Assistant at senior management level
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) to enable professional interaction with a wide range of contacts, both internal and external
- Ability to organise and plan own work
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
- A flexible, pro-active approach to work, including the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent Information Technology skills, including a working knowledge of presentation software packages
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
