Here at Fresh Property Group, we are now looking for a Head of Operations to manage the overall business performance of a portfolio of properties in the North West; covering Liverpool, Chester, Preston, Derby, Manchester and Bangor.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Operations, you will take the lead on client management and stakeholder relationships and ensure that each property meets its key performance indicators as well as maintaining the excellent brand reputation in all aspects of service delivery.

You must ensure that each site in your portfolio best demonstrates the organisations’ brand and has a culture of aiming to deliver excellent services to our clients – the students who live in our properties and the universities and colleges which we work with. You’ll need to build teams at site level with the right level of skills and commitment to meet the goals of the business and undertake regular reviews of site performance. The Head of Operations will also set rents at a level that will achieve full occupancy but aim to drive bottom line performance year on year and develop contacts at the local universities and colleges, attending meetings and presentations in order to promote us as business.

To succeed in this role…

You’ll be a driven, enthusiastic and committed individual who has proven management experience, gained within a customer facing environment. You will ideally have experience of working with students, in housing management or in the hospitality/leisure industry and be competent in managing budgets, including income generation and control of expenditure.

A focus on customer service, quality and results is paramount, as an understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practice. We also ask that you are extremely organised to allow you to effectively plan and organise your own and team’s workload and have exceptional communication skills with the ability to demonstrate creditability in your area of responsibility.

Due to the nature of the role, flexibility and the willingness to travel to meet the operational needs of the business is a must.
