If so, we at Watford Community Housing have an immediate position available for a Senior Neighbourhood Officer to join us.

About The Role
As Senior Neighbourhood Officer the purpose of your role will be to ensure the delivery of a high standard of customer service. Working closely with colleagues within other Customer Services Directorate teams, you will be responsible for ensuring that tenancy/housing management services are delivered effectively and in a way that is responsive to customer needs. Acting as the line manager for a team of Neighbourhood Managers, you will carry out estate and health & safety inspections regularly, raising any minor jobs or contractual issues to the Senior Estates and Contracts Officer.

About You
The ideal candidate for this role will have worked within a similar customer focused role within a social housing environment so will have an established track record of delivering results and continuous improvement in service delivery. You will have experience of coaching and leading colleagues and will be confident in engaging with a diverse audience using a range of communication tools. You will be comfortable in handling conflict and will be able to hold difficult conversations professionally, working collaboratively with the team to deliver results. Educated to level 4 or 5 in a relevant subject, you will have a comprehensive knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements and will ideally hold a relevant professional membership.
