Parts Advisor / Stock / Goods Inwards Controller - Leading Agricultural Machinery Dealership
Ashford, Kent
£18,000 + Benefits
Permanent, Full-Time Hours of Work: Monday to Friday: 8am – 5pm and alternate Saturday mornings.
Who we are…
Established in 1947, we are a family business that has steadily grown to become one of the more influential dealerships in the South of England. With just over 240 people in the team, we supply and support machinery to the Groundcare, Construction and Agricultural markets, a mix that has allowed us to weather the toughest of economic times. Our focus is ‘Sales with Service’ whereby we aim to provide the very highest levels of after sales care to our well-established customer base, something that led us to be awarded the Kubota Gold Plus award for service excellence. This doesn’t mean we get everything right, but we work hard to constantly improve the service on offer, and we know this starts by finding like-minded staff who take similar pride in their work.
About the role…
Ashford is a very busy branch and its bursting with talent and experience. We are now looking for an additional parts person to join the team to look after our goods inwards. You would be responsible for bringing parts into stock and managing the processes of our Goods Inwards Department. The parts are either destined for our workshops, retail customers or for stock, and you would need to prioritise your workload to ensure the demands of the business are met. This would include helping with the back counter and also, where necessary, the team on the phones and customers in the showroom.
About you…
The role would suit a bright, enthusiastic individual, who has excellent communication skills, works well with IT systems and possess a very good eye for detail. An interest in machinery would help in the progression of this role, as would, some experience within a warehouse environment. Ideally you would have a forklift licence, but this is not a necessity as training will be given.
You may have worked in the following capacities:
Parts Administrator, Parts Coordinator, Engineer, Mechanical Technician, Agricultural Dealership Parts Advisor, Automotive Parts Advisor, Groundcare Machinery Parts Advisor. Plant Machinery Parts Advisor
