We have an opening within our Solutions division for an Account Executive to join our team here in our head office, One Canada Square in the heart of Canary Wharf. For this role we are keen to speak with highly efficient and career driven graduates or current media sales executives who are looking to start their career in media sales. You will be a strong communicator, commercial thinker and someone who has the ability to build relationships with key agency clients.

As an Account Executive, you support our Digital Account Managers in driving digital revenues across all aspects of the Reach Digital portfolio and product offering, ensuring reporting is accurate and prospects are kept up to date on a daily basis. We are looking for candidates that are eager to learn our industry and will strive to progress to become an Account Manager themselves within 2 - 3 years.

Our role is to connect our advertising customers with 'Modal Britain', the mass majority audience that we best represent, entertain and inform, and on whose behalf we campaign.

Our creative approach enables us to develop tailored marketing solutions that utilise our unique National and Regional, Print and Digital portfolio of media products. Our solutions span many influential news brands which together reach 1 in 2 adults in the UK every week.

Every day our newsbrands - national and regional, in print and online - reach millions of people up and down the country. We are the UK's largest news publisher, with influential national newsbrands such as the Daily Mirror, Daily Express, Sunday People, Daily Record, and more than 100 distinguished regional titles.



Key Responsibilities
  • Have day to day relationships with Agencies within a portfolio
  • Support the Account Managers to enable them to develop and retain revenue-influencing relationships with customers, both existing and new
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Operations, Trading, Finance and other teams within Reach Solutions
  • Take responsibility for own personal development, including the building of PDP and attendance of Power Hours and other training or L&D sessions
  • Build relationships with Agencies and Trading Desks where appropriate
  • Drive the demand for Programmatic and Digital Direct Business, in line with the agency strategy
  • Understand specific advertiser's strategies to help then build bespoke, tailored solutions
  • Maintain an up to date and an accurate pipeline for business
  • Help forecast and report digital and mobile revenue as part of the overall digital revenue forecast on a weekly basis
  • Represent Reach Solutions positively within the wider Reach Plc business
