Trainee Wireperson
Do you have an interest in the automotive or electrical industry?
We are currently looking for a Junior Wireperson to join a well- established company that specialise in the design and manufacture of control equipment. They supply a variety of fully equipped control panels, Outdoor kiosks, LVAC boards, MIMIC control systems and equipment racks to various industries in the UK and overseas.
They cover the whole process from design to the build, test & installation of relay & control panel equipment associated with electricity transmission & distribution.
Duties
Use templates to drill holes etc.
Working from drawing to wire control panels
Use of hand tools including crimping
Ensure wiring is neat and tidy
Experience
Training will be given for candidates with the right aptitude to enable you to become a successful wireman.
Ability to read drawings will be an advantage
Ideally you will have good mechanical skills and want a 'hands on' job.
Benefits:
Hours of work are 08.30 - 16.45 Monday to Thursday with 1 hour lunch and 08.30 - 16.15 Friday.
Full training and development provided.
20 days holiday rising to 25 days with service + bank holidays
