Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) - Liverpool
An opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading UK manufacturer and wholesaler in Liverpool at their new multi-million pound manufacturing facility.
Salary: GBP30,000 per year + GBP4500 shift allowance + Overtime after 40 hours (expected earnings approx. GBP40k)
Location: Liverpool
Description
* The Maintenance Engineer role will cover the site electrical maintenance of the multi-site facility (all within close proximity to each other), working in a small team
?? Putting a newly implemented Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule in the Wood Mill into action, covering a range of wood machinery varying in age and capability
?? To alert the Maintenance Manager to electrical and mechanical problems, potential and actual, to support the continuous improvement in the facility
?? Adhere to HSQE and company standards and policies
* A shift pattern is currently awaiting sign-off; therefore the successful candidate must be flexible to work shifts.
(You will be working in a small technical team on machinery such as edgebanders, CNC, packaging machines, throughfeed drills)
Essential qualifications and experience:
* Time served with a formal electrical engineering qualification
?? Must be able to demonstrate experience and understanding of Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules, root cause analysis
?? Experience with woodworking machinery and/or CNC machinery i.e. Homag, Biesse (desirable).
