Our client is an Aluminium framework, glass and joinery contractor for commercial fit outs within the South of England.  With over 25 years’ experience of delivering high quality projects in time and on budget, their ethos is to provide clients with an exceptional service from the initial design right though to practical completion.

They directly employ in the region of 50 highly skilled operatives, ranging from, Site Managers, Site Supervisors to partition installers & carpenters. They have the skills to undertake projects ranging from £5,000.00 to £10,000,000.00 and their aim is to develop and maintain strong lasting relationships, resulting in repeat business from clients who regularly seek their specialist services.

They are now seeking to appoint Internal Partition Apprentices specialising in glass partitions to work within a team to deliver the highest quality glazed partitions and take instructions from the site management team to ensure delivery of projects on time snag free. 

As an Internal Partition Apprentice, you will learn to read and understand plans and detail drawings to set out locations of partitions and build what is required. You will be involved in the installation of structures or fixtures, such as aluminium framework, timber framework using carpenters’ hand or power tools; shaping or cutting material to specified measurements and installing various sizes/specifications of glass to partition system.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to achieve an NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Interior Systems which will include college attendance of varying blocks (2, 3 and 4 weeks) at the National Construction College.

This vacancy is open to people who can travel and work within the M25, the majority of work being in Central London.
