Internal Communications Manager

Initial 12 months’ FTC

Leicester

Full time (35 hours per week)

Grade 6, Salary £33,264 – £38,240

We’re looking for an experienced, creative Internal Communications Manager to help support our employees through an organisational change programme, working as part of a cross functional programme team.

You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering an internal communications strategy including implementing a range of new communications and engagement channels. Working directly with the Society’s senior leadership team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference from day one in this newly created role.

The BPS is entering a time of exciting change and growth so you’ll need to be confident with developing, managing and delivering multiple projects at any one time.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate significant experience of leading internal communications for an organisation. You’ll be an expert in all the different elements of internal communications and employee engagement and ideally, you will have experience of supporting employees through times of change. Resilient, flexible and confident in approach, you’ll have excellent oral, written and visual communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas to a range of audiences.
