They are now looking to recruit for two Leasehold Scheme Officers to join them to provide a highly customer focused service for their customers in the Leasehold Schemes; making regular contact with all residents to assess needs and refer to/liaise with other agencies and/or family.
Opportunities available:
- Leasehold Scheme Officer – Quay Courtyard – 30 hours per week
Permanent or fixed-term contract
Live in scheme role in Manningtree - 2 bed flat for the successful candidate
- Leasehold Scheme Officer – Orchard Gardens – 35 hours per week
Permanent or fixed-term contract
Live in scheme role in Colchester - 2 bed house for the successful candidate
Participating in care planning/monitoring and case conferences with other agencies where appropriate and liaising with hospitals helping to ensure that necessary services are organised prior to discharge, you will advise residents on availability of local statutory, private and voluntary services and organisations and on their rights to benefit and services; acting as an advocate where appropriate.
You must also respond to alarm calls and emergencies and encourage resident participation and social activities.
The successful candidates will be expected to reside in their respective schemes in properties provided (accommodation costs for this are taken out of your salary). With experience of providing housing support and or care to vulnerable customers and knowledge of leasehold scheme management, you must be capable of liaising with different agencies and internal services to deliver services to the residents and have an understanding of quality assurance and safety processes.
