Apprentice Learning & Development Coordinator

Our Learning & Development Apprenticeship programme is designed to introduce you to the world of Learning & Development. You will work alongside HR Professionals as part our team to deliver a full coordination service to our stores and Support Centre departments relating to all key learning and development activity across the business.

We'll support you every step of the way with a structured learning and development plan - our customers trust us to deliver a truly individual and expert service and to do that you need to receive the very best training.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining colleagues records on our HR system to show when training has been completed
• Reporting on the completion rates of our compulsory online learning modules and training levels within our Stores and Support Centre
• Providing administration support to our learning and development team
• Producing and collating training certificates for our colleagues
• Answering training queries from our colleagues in store
• Creating reports for the business on relevant training and development levels as required.

You'll also have the opportunity to learn while you earn, gaining nationally recognized qualifications, equivalent to 5 A*-C GCSE's (including maths and English, if you don't already have them)

On completion of the programme we'll invite you and your family to celebrate your success at a graduation ceremony before looking to place you in a permanent role in our HR function.

What do you need?

• To be at least 16 years old
• Not be in full or part time education
• Bags of enthusiasm
• A confident communicatory with a friendly attitude
• Great customer service skills
• Commitment to completing the Vision Express apprenticeship programme - it will be hard work, so you will need to be organised and self-motivated.
• You'll need to understand the importance of maintaining high standards - including personal presenion.
• Team work is also a big part of our culture, so the ability to work well with others is essential.
