Job Title: Operation Customer Service Team Member
Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: £9 - £11 per hour - Dependent on experience
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday, 30-40 hours per week
The Company:
The company is a growing organisation within the RF & Microwave industry. They are currently looking to resource immediately available candidates for a permanent Operations Customer service team member who has experience of order processing systems (Sage etc)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Open up for business the Goods in area
- Receive goods in and record on the relevant system
- Allocate received goods to the correct area and update relevant systems accordingly
- Manage rentals, servicing and goods out area
- Packing boxes, completing courier paperwork and updating files
- Re-label products and check systems before going out
- Assist with the maintenance of sales stock - updating electronic control systems
- Programme radios
- Manage day to day Rental asset control/ register/stock allocation
- Producing quotes for customers repairs
- Processing orders on a daily basis ready to hand over to operations
- Meeting KPI's
- Daily enquiries relating to existing accounts and transferring to relevant departments
- Organisation / filing of all jobs and all documentation for the raising of customer service requests
- Responsible for customer service levels
- Play a key part in continuous improvement and be an active member of the team
Candidate and Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have:
- Strong IT skills, used to working in CRM systems including Excel, word processing and data handling
- Proven work experience in an customer facing role as a service team member or similar role
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills, complemented by diplomacy
- Pay close attention to detail and be thorough
- Be able to work calmly, effectively under pressure, react quickly, and meet tight deadlines
