Mosscare St Vincent’s (MSV) is a new, dynamic Housing Association formed by the merger of the two strong and resilient housing providers who have a shared history in providing excellent quality services to our customers. Working across the North West and Greater Manchester we aim to remain true to our mission, values and vision and to making a difference in the communities we serve and wider neighbourhoods.

MSV’s Property Services division provides day to day, void and capital works programmes across the group and we are looking for experienced Labourers to join the team.

The purpose of this role is to work mainly in empty properties, though there will be some work in tenanted properties as well as external works. Some of our empty properties require heavy cleans. You will also support our trade operatives in their day to day duties, ensuring that all work areas are kept clear of debris and disposing of rubbish in an environmentally-friendly and safe way.

As a key member of the Property Services team, you will ensure that all sites/premises are kept clear and tidy at all times, setting up and removing building materials and making sure all premises are left in a clean and safe manner on completion of works. This will involve cleaning the properties.

Experience of working on maintenance of properties or with multi trades is preferable, but not essential and you will have a strong commitment to high-quality customer service.  This work can be heavy and dirty at times. You will also be able to carry out duties under minimum supervision and be able to work effectively as part of a team.  A full current driving license is required.

The successful applicant will also need a full UK driving license and possess a full well-maintained tool kit at all times.

You will enjoy an excellent benefits package including a pension scheme and generous holiday entitlement.

Applications from women candidates are particularly encouraged, as women are currently underrepresented in these positions in the Group.

Closing date: 9 am Thursday 11th April 2019.
Interviews:  Wednesday 17th April 2019.
