Job Title: Customer Support Technician
Type: Permanent
Location: Chandlers Ford, Hampshire
Start: ASAP
Salary: up to GBP25,000 pa plus benefits
WRS is currently recruiting for a Customer Support Technician for an exciting and leading marine electronics company based in Hampshire.
This is predominantly an office base position, you will deal with individual end users from customers who own sailing yachts to national distributing companies. You will answer queries via phone / email and be a main point of contact. Your main focus is to remotely fix any issues with the product either over the telephone, via email, or occasionally travelling to sites.
The Successful Candidate will have:
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Package)
- Confident telephone manor
- A good understanding of electrical and electronic equipment (preferably in the marine industry, this is not essential)
- HND or HNC in Electronics
- Knowledge of the Marine Industry (beneficial, not essential)
- Holds a valid UK driving licence
