JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking to appoint an interim Senior HR Specialist for a Maternity cover. This person will play a key role in driving continued growth through people programs, processes, policies and practices that enable EPAM to attract, develop, engage, leverage, and retain talent in a highly competitive market within the UK and Ireland. We are searching for a smart, competent, confident and hard-working professional who has already proved themselves within a role that involved responsibility for the full spectrum of people management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement, manage and continuously improve HR processes and practices. Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and drive positive change
  • Build a close and trusted relationship with all stakeholders
  • Help leadership and managers to effectively deal with people-related challenges
  • Identify and leverage opportunities. Solve problems, develop and deliver solutions
  • Provide advice and guidance on HR & local labour law related issues. Expertise and experience in complex Employee Relations is essential
  • Develop and maintain close and positive relationships with employees. Facilitate an ongoing dialogue, inviting input and feedback, conducting surveys, analysing feedback from various sources, and implementing actions that can enhance employee engagement and retention
  • Collaborate in the organisation of engagement activities and events for London office
  • Efficiently manage and document HR processes and decisions leveraging the firm's people management tools and technologies. Ensure that all workforce changes are properly administered from initial contract set up to managing exits
  • Working closely with Managers, Employees and Global Mobility to manage relocations to the UK & Ireland
  • Review and shape employment-related local policies and procedures to ensure their local relevance, effectiveness, and compliance. Ensure proper documentation is in place
  • Managing the full benefit process, including pensions
  • Help managers effectively lead their teams including the provision of feedback, supporting their development, conducting assessments, or making decisions about promotions or compensation

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in working in the technology sector or a similar, progressive industry is an advantage
  • Proven track record of working directly with senior leaders and managers
  • Solid knowledge of UK and Ireland employment rules and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - especially Excel and PowerPoint - and the ability to learn to work with new tools and technologies
  • Higher degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
