Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Maintenance Engineer required for a leading manufacturing company based in Ebbw Vale, South Wales paying a salary of GBP28,000 per annum plus shift allowance and overtime and excellent benefits.
Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer / Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: GBP28,000 per annum plus shift allowance and OT
Hours: Double days
Benefits: 25 days holiday (plus stats), pension, free parking
Duration: Permanent
Location: Ebbw Vale, South wales
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer / Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be working as part of a team attending to breakdowns and carrying out planned preventative maintenance on production equipment including robotic welding systems, conveyors and presses.
Other duties will include carrying out improvements to machinery to increase efficiency, maintaining site services and getting involved in project work / improvements as required.
The successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Engineer will have a good understanding of PLC systems, as well as knowledge of welding techniques and hydraulic systems.
In addition the successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
??HNC in related discipline or have a relevant apprenticeship,
??17th Edition regs
??Have previously worked in a FMCG environment
??Understanding of robotic equipment
??Logical fault finding approach
??Knowledge of pneumatic actuators and controls
