Injection Moulding Operatives

We are looking for numerous operatives to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in the Swadlincote area.

You will be working for a growing global engineering group focused on technology across numerous industry sectors.

Three different shift patterns you can choose from:-

Days only (7am to 4.30pm Mon to Fri) GBP7.83 - GBP8.10ph

Rotating days and afters (between 5am to 22.30 Mon to Fri) GBP9.12ph

Nights only (22.00-06.00 Sun to Thursday) GBP10.14ph

(Candidates need to be flexible as changes in business demand may mean having to move to a different shift pattern)

Nature of work: -

Repetitive
Work to targets
Fast paced environment
Follow strict specifications and SOP's at all times
Adhere to H&S at all times
Use of hand tools, power tools
Assembly of components
Follow engineering drawings
Operating presses
Operating injection moulding machinery
Bonding of components to spec's

Skills:-

Previous manufacturing / assembly experience would be advantageous (1 year) as would injection moulding background
Strong communication skills - reading and writing
Understanding engineering drawings would be advantageous
Strong work ethic
Willingness to learn new tasks
