Essex Outdoors are recruiting catering assistants and cleaners to join their team for summer 2019, starting in May or June.
Full and part-time positions are available with, if desired the opportunity to work up to 60 hours a week so you can really earn some summer cash.
Meals will be provided and if required free tent based accommodation as well.
You will be working with a friendly team of people, in an environment that's fast paced and full of energy.
The Role
Working on one of our very busy sites and as part of a team you will assist Chefs and Cooks in providing three great choice and quality meals a day for up to 500 residential visitors.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for basic food preparation
* Washing up, using a fully automated machine and cleaning some larger cooking items by hand
* To ensure that cleanliness is maintained within the facilities and are adequately stocked
* To maintain a high standard of personal and general cleanliness and hygiene to comply with statutory regulations.
* To use powered cleaning and catering equipment in accordance with the relevant safety requirements
Free meals will be provided during working hours and if required, on occasion, a tent is available for overnight accommodation.
As part of employment with Essex County Council (ECC) should your role require a DBS check you will be required to register with the DBS update service. The DBS update service ensures all registered DBS certificates are kept up to date and allows authorised parties to view the status of your certificate. This is an annual subscription and you will be responsible for ensuring this is maintained. For further information on the DBS update service please visit:
