Ringway Jacobs have an opportunity for a Structures Inspector to join them undertaking their TFL contract.
Reporting to the Structures Inspection Manager, the purpose of the role is to inspect structures as part of defined programme, ensuring compliance with performance and programme targets.
On average you will conduct 5/6 planned structural inspections per week, this would usually be arranged to conduct in the same area within a day, the rest of your week would then be spent office based where you will be producing inspections programmes and costs plan as well as writing investigation reports.
The type of Structures you will be inspecting will range from Multi-spans bridges, Underpasses, Footbridges, Pipe subways and more.
You will join an experienced team of 4 other Structures Inspectors and will be based in Edmonton, London.

What we are looking for....
We are looking for an experienced Structure Inspector, ideally with a minimum of 2 - 3 years experience. You will also have a relevant civil engineering qualification and have a full driving licence.
Experience in the design of concrete and/or steel highway structures and a background in construction and maintenance of highway structures and related assets would be a plus.
