About the Role

St John Ambulance (SJA) provides First Aid and life-saving care at thousands of events every year, including concerts, football games and large-scale events such as the London Marathon.

In your role as a casual Event Paramedic, you will respond to, and manage emergency calls/incidents whilst attending SJA Events. You'll provide high-quality specialist, clinical, social and holistic care to individuals in the pre-hospital environment, which may happen at events such as concerts, motorsports, road races etc. Due to the ever-changing nature of events, this may involve working on a variety of vehicles including ambulances, FRV's and within treatment units as required.

About You

As a qualified paramedic, you will be passionate about delivering a high quality of care to all patients and will act in accordance with the agreed St John Ambulance policy/procedures and current legislation. While remaining compliant with Health & Care Professions Council requirements for Paramedic Registration and clinical guidance from the Joint Royal Colleges Ambulance Liaison Committee (JRCALC), College of Paramedics (CoP) and National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) as appropriate
