Head of Community Projects and Fundraising 36 hours full time Ref: HCP
St Hilda's East Community Centre is seeking a Head of Development and Fundraising to join our vibrant and exciting team. St Hilda's East is a multi-purpose community organisation based in Tower Hamlets, that provides a wide range of services to the community - from children, youth activities, a Food co-op, to care for older people. We help local people of all ages to combat the challenges arising from deprivation and social exclusion.
St Hilda's East has been working in our community since 1889. We are currently celebrating our 130 th anniversary. Our organisation has seen a lot of changes and challenges in its history and we are looking ahead to new challenges that we and our community face and how we can overcome them.
St Hilda's Trustees have recently taken the decision to invest funds to create two new posts (Deputy Director, Projects and Strategy and Head of Community Projects and Fundraising) to augment our staff team, with the aim of increasing the resilience of the organisation and securing new financial resources for our work.
Head of Community Projects and Fundraising
We are looking for a Head of Community Projects and Fundraising who can lead and inspire us as we look to build and develop new fundraising streams.
The role will require you to be responsible for developing new relationships with trust and foundation, major donors and corporates. You'll also lead on developing our internal evaluation and learning processes to help the organisation and our funders really understand the impact we have on our community.
The role will require you to have a track-record of implementing a successful fundraising strategy across multiple funding streams, and demonstrate strong relationship-building and management skills. You will also have experience in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks within an organisation.
This role will suit someone who is looking for a new challenge and is motivated by community development and working in a collaborative environment. We have a shared and collaborative approach to our work here at St Hilda's. You'll be working in a small, friendly and dynamic team that are keen to learn from your knowledge and expertise.
We would love to hear from you if you are passionate about our community!
