I am currently working with one of our Public Sector Clients who are seeking a HR Assistant for a 6 month FTC.
You will be supporting the delivery of a responsive HR Service by supporting the HR team in managing employee relations with a view to maximise people management performance and minimise employee relations disputes, you will be working closely with the HR Business Partner & Lead HR Advisor.
Main responsibilities:
* To assist in the delivery of the HR plan
* Be the first point of contact for queries, investigating, responding and advising managers on ad hoc queries ensuring these are handled effectively and accordingly
* Provide proactive policy and procedure advice and guidance
* Support the HR service in managing the ER case load
* Develop sustainable, effective relationships with relevant stakeholders across the business
* Update and maintain the iTrent system in line with procedures and policies
Essential experience/skills:
* Experience in delivering a high quality, customer focused HR assistant/administrative service
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Great organisational and analytical skills
* Completed or working towards a CIPD/HR relevant qualification
