CHP Field Service Engineer - GBP30,000 + GBP40,000 + Overtime Payments

My client is an award-winning power generation business, with a reputation for being the best in the industry. Due to their continued expansion, we have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to cover sites in South London, Surrey, Sussex & Kent.

Responsible for providing client satisfaction and outstanding customer service at all times, you will perform planned maintenance, where you will use your mechanical engine knowledge to maintain and successfully repair any faulty gas engine CHP units.

The successful candidate will possess mechanical engineering skills, with prior experience servicing and maintaining gas power supply equipment such as Jenbacher, Cummins, MTU, Mercedes, MWM, Deutz, MAN or CAT sized units, CHP sets, engines or generators.

Ideally, you will be qualified at Apprenticeship, City and Guilds level or above in an Engineering discipline.

Knowledge of electrical fault finding or component replacement would be a distinct advantage, as would any experience of generator control panels. Our client is, however, willing to provide training and development in this area.
