Electrical Maintenance Engineer is now required for a market leading manufacturer within the building products and services industry, to work within their busy site in the West Midlands.
The ideal Engineer for this exciting opportunity, will be forward thinking and happy to work within an innovative company with a strong knowledge of PLC systems, with a focus on Siemens S7.
Joining this experienced team, you will be responsible for the electrical maintenance of heavy industrial equipment including Kilns, Burners and Extruders. To be successful in this position you will be expected to have an electrical bias with experience of the following:
- Ability to read electrical drawings and work on control panels
- An electrical qualification including 17th Edition Wiring Regulations or equivalent
- Siemens S7 experience including, fault finding/modification
- Previous experience within a similar heavy industry is highly advantageous though not essential
- Good mechanical knowledge of hydraulics & pneumatics
Operating 24/7, Maintnance Engineers respond to machinery breakdowns, as well involvment in planned maintenance and project work to develop and upgrade the site. The successful candidate will be working within a small team of Engineers covering a 3 on 3 off double days pattern 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm.
In return the client is offering a salary package up to GBP38k which includes shift allowance and bonus as well as 21 days holiday (+ 8 stats), paid overtime, pension scheme and access to the company share options.
This role is based within Staffordshire and is commutable from within and around the following areas: Stoke, Newcastle under Lyme, Buxton, Market Drayton and Sudbury
