Experienced Cabinet Maker/BenchHand
Starlight Bedrooms have been established for more than 40 years producing high quality fitted and free standing furniture primarily for the residential market. We operate from our showroom and workshop in Farnworth. The business is family owned and is very proud of its long-serving, friendly staff team. Our aim is to be the best employer in the region in our field.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and suitably experienced Bench Hand to add to our current team. The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
* 2 years' experience in joinery cabinet making
* Ability to use wood working machinery and hand tools (ability to work with Beam Saw advantageous)
* Ability to understand technical drawings
* A good understanding of English
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
* Well organised/attention to detail
(Please note: if you are an experienced cabinetmaker with experience of Magicut systems we would be especially interested in talking to you this type of experience would attract an increment on the advertised salary)
The salary is GBP18-20,000 dependent on experience, (GBP22000 plus for experience with Magicut). In addition we offer 28 days paid holiday, pension scheme, life assurance, bonuses, small loan and home improvement schemes.
