Salary: £27,221 p/annum

Permanent | 37 hours p/week

The Role

Towards this end, our Together Energy team continues to grow – with their offering of solar power and other renewable sources of energy to our customers. We are now looking to recruit  a new energy surveyor to help us successfully deliver our energy projects. You will be able  to undertake survey work for a varied range of energy projects; including establishing the technical and financial viability of projects, assisting with the development of budgets, designs and specifications, and project managing the on- site delivery of our energy projects.

You will be assisting with the procurement of a varied range of energy projects and will ensure that  these projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget to the appropriate quality standards.

You will need to liaise with internal colleagues, tenants, external contractors and suppliers in the development and delivery of a range of energy projects; including attending team meetings, site meetings and any other liaison required to ensure successful delivery of the projects you are working on.

In order to successful undertake the role as an Energy Surveyor based out of Blackburn, you will require the following key skills knowledge and experience;

  • Experience of carrying out survey work for a varied range of energy projects, 
  • Experience of managing energy projects on site, ensuring successful delivery
  • Experience of dealing directly with members of the public, with contractors and suppliers in a customer facing role
  • You will need knowledge of solar PV and other renewable energy installations, as well as LED lighting and other energy efficiency projects
  • You must have an ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers, colleagues, supplies as well as contractors

Due to the nature of the role, you will require a full driving license with access to a vehicle insured for business use
