My client, a well established and growing Financial Services company in Basildon is looking for a Credit Control Administrator to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the credit control manager, this is a great opportunity for someone who has previous accounts and credit control experience. Due to the nature of the business, it would be ideal if you come from a background of understanding commission structures between financial institutions - for example, between a mortgage lender and a mortgage broker or between an insurance provider and a broker.

To be considered, in addition to accounts/credit control experience, you must be well organised, an excellent communicator with a can-do attitude.

The role briefly entails:

• Ensure all commission payments are recorded and allocated in an efficient and effective manner.

• Efficiently and accurately allocate commissions received from a number of third party companies.

• Chase any outstanding fees/commission via telephone/email until a satisfactory conclusion has been reached

• Investigate clawbacks/adjustments of fees and deal with accordingly as and when appropriate.

• Process fees, allocating invoice numbers as and when required and issue receipts.

• Reconciling several company accounts providing a full breakdown of income/expenditure.

• Enter details of income/expenditure into Sage 50 and reconcile on a daily/weekly basis

• Maintain a programme to monitor premium arrears and policy lapses.

• Set reviews to monitor progress of individual arrears cases.

• Invoice and chase for outstanding debt when required.

• Provide appropriate management information in relation to all remuneration received.
