Basic Job Description

Technical evaluation of the 3rd party control systems
Build and maintain related documentation of the solution release (for a whole system)
Design and build prototype systems for evaluation
Participate in the requirement definition of Sylsmart products
Participate in the 3rd party control system evaluation (HW capabilities, radio and wireless component analysis, protocol analysis, security)
Lead and review component implementation (internal or external)
Lead the wireless and RF regulatory certification test (external lab) and result analysis

Person Specification:

- Experience in controls, IoT

- Ability to build prototypes: high voltage (230V) electrical wiring, problem investigation, commissioning, software upgrades, etc.

- Good knowledge in wired control especially 0-10V and DALI

- Good knowledge in EU regulations (safety, EMC/EMI, radio)

- Working knowledge in embedded systems (SoC key attributes, main platforms)

- Working knowledge in IoT edge-gateway-cloud communication technologies

- Previous experience in security technologies would be plus (SSL, AES, Certificate based authentication, ...)

- Ability to maintain and use mobile devices (iOS, Android)

- Master degree level, engineering or equivalent

- Capacity for analysis and synthesis

- Ability to work on several projects in parallel

- Excellent written and oral communication
