Our client based in South Kent requires a SHEQ Safety Technician to join their team.
Suitable candidates will have the following skills / experience / attributes:
* IOSH certificate - Managing Safely
* Be willing to work towards NEBOSH General Certificate in Safety
* Previous experience of carrying out safety site inspections in a multi discipline environment
* Knowledge in safety legislation
* Able to work at Height
* Full driving licence and use of own vehicle
The role will involve:
* Undertaking audits and inspections of operations and facilities as directed to ensure continued compliance and identify areas for improvement
* Assisting with the management of the OHSAS 18001 / ISO45001 Safety Management system
* Assisting with the monitoring all safety occurrences and contribute to monthly statistical reports
* Carrying out the safety inspections, audits and safety tours
* Acting as ambassador for the organisation's safety culture and work with colleagues to deliver cultural change
* Assisting in the investigations of accidents and incidents as required
Salary is GBP18-24k pa + discretionary bonus scheme. 25 days holiday + bank holidays and Pension
