We are looking for a quality Engineer to join our growing business:
We are seeking a quality engineer with experience in the electronics sector. A background in quality, PCBA production and process activities would be idea and experience in IPC-610 and/or JSTD-001 would be an advantage.
Reporting to operations and working within our quality team providing first line assistance with QA activities and manufacturing.
Areas the role will cover.
* Supporting the daily manufacturing operations, providing technical support to IPC610A Class 3/JSTD-001 standards.
* Supporting complex production orders, detailing process controls.
* Organising and investigating route cause analysis with considered summaries and actions.
* Facilitating process improvement, by collecting and reviewing data from KPI's.
* Providing a pro-active approach to system and process improvement.
* Internal process reviews: Validating, manging and updating internal works instructions.
* Providing customer support, for QA related activities.
* Managing supplier data, assisting in supplier performance and qualification.
* Monitoring and organising calibration/maintenance of key equipment.
* Reporting and advising on QA related topics within the business.
* Assistance with Health and Safety/FAIR reports on finished goods.
Good verbal and written communication skills, office administration skills to include; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability or the potential to support production operations in aspects of product assembly to IPC610A Class 3/JSTD-001 standards.
Working a 39-hour standard week and provide benefits including a company contributed pension scheme, 27 days paid holiday (plus Bank Holidays) Free parking.
Core Hours:
8.30-5.00 Mon-Thursday
8.30-4.00 Friday
