Level 3 Permanent Baby Room Leader required in BS8, Bristol

Your new nursery
You will be joining an Ofsted 'Outstanding' rated nursery that has been established for over 30 years. This nursery is family run and is one of two settings, this setting can hold up to 50 children and has 20 members of staff. Beach and forest schools are encouraged and carried out weekly, providing the children with a variety of different learning experiences. There is permit parking nearby and permits are offered by the nursery, public transport also stops near. This nursery is focused on providing its staff with professional development and has an in house training room to cater for this.

Your new role
This job is for a level 3 nursery practitioner who has a passion for working with babies. You will have your own key children that you will carry out planning, preparation and observations for. You will need to be confident in your approach, reporting feedback to both parents the manager.

You will be responsible for providing excellent emotional, physical, social and intellectual care for the children and supporting the other staff members of the room to maintain high standards. You will be working as part of a close, strong team to tailor to children's needs and providing an engaging environment for the children.

You will be required to attend and help lead both beach and forest schools. You are encouraged to think outside of the box using your initiative to help the children engage and learn.

As the leader, you will be required to ensure all policies are being followed as well as ensuring all practitioners are in line with the EYFS curriculum.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be qualified to level 3 or above. An extensive early year's background and confidence with safeguarding procedures is required. Having experience working within the baby room and within management will benefit you. You will need to be passionate about working with children and have extensive knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.

This nursery is offering a generous salary in return for working 40hours a week over either 4 or 5 days. You will receive frequent in-house training alongside a bonus scheme which doubles after two years of service. You will also gain an extra day of holiday each year you work with this nursery.
