The role

We are looking for an experienced Upstream Production Scientist to join a growing biologics company on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of therapeutic proteins and biological molecules in a GMP cleanroom environment. The responsibilities will largely involve microbial fermentation and troubleshooting processes.

The company

Our client is a growing biologics company who specialise in vaccine production. The business also offers consultancy services such as process development and full scale manufacturing to GMP standards.

Experience/ Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fermentation is essential.
• Experience working in a GMP cleanroom environment is essential.
• Minimum BSc or equivalent in a relevant subject
• Excellent communication and project management skills
