If you are a talented and ambitious Security Officer then we would love to hear from you. We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Estate Team as a Estate Security Support Officer. As an Estate Security Officer you will be based in Merchant Square and will be responsible for the safety and well being of all staff and visitors on the Estate.
Overall Purpose of the Role:
* Provide a meet and greet service to all staff and visitors to our building and estate
* Anticipate and recognise ways to provide excellent customer service to improve the experience throughout the estate
* To work as 'one team' working closely with colleagues to seamlessly support the visitor journey
* Recognise where you can 'add value' to your role during every interaction
* To provide a courteous and welcoming service when dealing with visitors or staff
* To provide a strong visible presence on the estate to deter suspicious activity and behaviour
* To be alert and to recognise potential suspicious activity and behaviour and be ready to take immediate action to deal with emergency situations
* To ensure all areas remains clean and tidy and identify issues that may impact on the clients image as soon as they arise
* To assist the control room with monitoring vehicles parking within the clients demise
* To assist with event set up i.e. banksman
* Maintaining the highest standards of security whilst maintaining professionalism
Essential Experience:
* Ability to contribute to the team
* Ability to use your own initiative
* Attention to detail
* Confident dealing with the public
* Customer focused approach
* Strong customer service skills
* Previous security experience
* Strong verbal communication skills
* Strong written communication skills
* SIA licence - Door Supervision
* Strong customer service skills
* IT literate
