PERSONAL INJURY DEPARTMENT

Tinsdills Solicitors is a well established innovative law firm based in the North Staffordshire/South Cheshire area. We are currently looking to recruit a Legal Assistant to join our experienced team within the Road Traffic Accident Unity within our Personal Injury Department at our Hanley office.

The position would be working within the RTA team providing support to our senior fee earners in undertaking the administration associated with the completion and submission of Claims Notification Forms and Stage 1 of the Claim process. Strong administration skills and the willingness and ability to work methodically with attention to detail are required in the position. Previous legal experience is not necessary as full training will be provided in that respect but strong administration experience and the ability to work to strict deadlines whilst maintaining close attention to detail is essential.

The successful candidate will be a team player who is able to work well under pressure. Candidates must be well organised with good communication skills and, whilst working largely as a team member, the ability to work on your own initiative is also important.  Candidates must be hardworking, reliable and willing to complete any tasks associated with their job role, to the highest possible standards. Good time keeping is also a must as is a willingness to help out where needed within the Department.

Candidates must be computer literate and have experience of using Microsoft Packages including Word and Excel. 

The position is a full time role working 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday with a one hour lunch (35 hours per week) and offers a competitive starting salary depending upon experience, 20 days annual holidays plus Bank Holidays (increasing over time to 25 days plus Bank Holidays) and a contributory pension.
